Customizing Strategy Parameters

Every strategy comes with sensible defaults, but you can fine-tune every parameter to match your risk tolerance and trading style.

Where to Customize

Strategy parameters are set during bot creation. The fields shown depend on which strategy you select. You can also view and reference all strategies on the Strategies page in the app sidebar.

Crypto Strategy Parameters

Retirement notice (2026-08-24): the legacy crypto strategies below (Momentum through RSI Divergence) were withdrawn from bot creation after a two-year validation screen. Their parameter tables remain for reading historical bots. New crypto bots use Trend Gate.

Tips for Tuning

Start with Paper Mode. Test parameter changes on paper bots first to see how they affect signal frequency and win rate before going live.

Shorter timeframes = more trades. Using 1m or 5m candles generates more signals. Use longer candles (1h, 4h) for swing-style trading.

Balance sensitivity and noise. Tighter parameters (short EMAs, low RSI thresholds) catch moves earlier but produce more false signals.
