Binance.US API Keys
Connect your Binance.US account to TraderBotz. Binance.US is a separate exchange for United States residents with its own API and instrument catalogue.
Important: Binance.US is a different entity from Binance global. If you are outside the US, use Binance (Global) instead. TraderBotz encrypts all credentials at rest with Fernet symmetric encryption.
Step 1: Open Binance.US API Management
Log in to binance.us/settings/api-management and click Create API.
Step 2: Create an API Key
- 1 Give the key a label (e.g., "TraderBotz")
- 2 Complete 2FA verification when prompted
Step 3: Configure Permissions
Edit the API key restrictions and enable:
- ✓ Enable Reading — Required for balance and market data
- ✓ Enable Spot Trading — Required for placing orders
- ✗ Enable Withdrawals — Not needed (leave unchecked)
Tip: Binance.US supports IP whitelisting for API keys. If you're running TraderBotz on a server with a static IP, add it for extra security.
Step 4: Copy Your Credentials
Binance.US will show your API Key and Secret Key. The secret is displayed only once.
API Key
Copy the alphanumeric API key string.
Secret Key
Copy and save immediately — it will not be shown again.
Step 5: Add to TraderBotz
- 1 In TraderBotz, go to Accounts in the sidebar
- 2 Click Add Account and select Binance.US from the dropdown
- 3 Enter a name (e.g., "My Binance.US")
- 4 Paste the API Key and Secret Key
- 5 Click Test Connection to verify
- 6 Save the account — now available when creating bots
Quote currency note: Binance.US supports USD fiat pairs for many top coins. TraderBotz will default to USD when you select Binance.US, so your instrument presets will match available USD trading pairs.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid API key" error
Make sure you selected Binance.US (not Binance Global) in the TraderBotz account dropdown. The two exchanges use different API endpoints.
Fewer trading pairs than expected
Binance.US has a smaller instrument catalogue than Binance global due to US regulations. Some altcoins may not be available. TraderBotz automatically filters presets to show only coins that are actually tradable on your exchange.
