OpenAI API Key

Use OpenAI models (GPT-4, etc.) as your AI advisor for bot signal validation, sentiment analysis, and instrument ranking.

Don't want to manage your own keys? You can skip this step and purchase AI credits instead. We'll handle the AI infrastructure — credits are deducted per call based on actual usage.

Step 1: Get an OpenAI API Key

  1. 1 Go to platform.openai.com and sign in
  2. 2 Navigate to API Keys in the left sidebar
  3. 3 Click Create new secret key
  4. 4 Copy the key immediately — it's only shown once

Billing: OpenAI charges per token used. Make sure you have a payment method and billing limits configured in your OpenAI account.

Step 2: Add to TraderBotz

  1. 1 Go to Settings in the sidebar
  2. 2 Scroll to the AI Providers section
  3. 3 Click Add Provider and select OpenAI
  4. 4 Enter a name, paste your API key, and choose a default model
  5. 5 Click Test to verify connectivity, then save
  6. 6 Click Set Default if this is your primary AI provider
